You may have noticed why there are six bills filed for deliberation when in fact it is a good bill devoted in solving overpopulation. In the current status of the bill, there is some opposition. The most prominent opposition to the bill is the church. The Philippines is a Roman Catholic country. It has been introduced to the country by the Spaniards since 1500. It remained as is through the centuries passed. It has served a great effect on the majority of Filipinos. For them, the RH Bill is a liability because it runs counter to what the church teaches. The point is the church, does not allow it because it runs counter to the identity of the country.
